Out with the old, in with the new

Well, we did it. We got a minivan and now I'm a minivan mom. I never expected to have a minivan at the age of 26. Today we said goodbye to old Silver Bells.....

and hello to Silver Bullet, a 2005 Dodge Caravan.

This baby can reach 120 mph. Ha! I think I just realized that I'm not going to get to drive a really cool car again until our kids have moved out of the house. Our coolness factor just went down a few notches with this purchase.

Ok, I'm totally kidding. I'm really just glad that we were able to find something within our price range that all of us will be able to fit in.

Congrats on the Silver bullet!I know you proably think it is not the coolest car but once you use it and have all that room for all the girls stuff, you will love it more and more.
Oh, and remember, its not what you drive its how you drive it, so you WORK that mini van girl!

That's a nice looking van! I love our mini-van. It will be nice when you have grandma's and grandpa's in town too.

My husband tried talking me into the mini van (I think it was because it wasnt his primary vehicle) I wasnt ready, so I got a Highlander. Ummmmmm I am now SO JEALOUS of your minivan! Needless to say I wish I had a minivan 85% of the time. With "only" two kids, and sports and groceries, and friends and large families, and kids, and sports and bags and kids.....you never have enough room. The minivan is the best thing you could have done, if we have another, I will have to get one, or an excursion or suburban (gas hog!)
Congrats on the Silver bullet! You look good no matter what you drive.

I love your new minivan. I wouldn't mind owning one and all the space that comes along with it. I think it's cool. Happy Anniversary.

I hope you don't get your van mixed up with mine. Well, maybe the small fender bender in the rear and the old stinky interior will help you distinguish which one is ours. Congrats and welcome Silver Bullet. I'm assuming this means I don't need to watch Hannah this weekend for your car shopping date. Let me know if you still want to go out though.

Yeah! I'm totally converted to being a mini-van-mom. I used to be so against them, but not anymore! It will definitely be our next purchase as well. I'm sure you will LOVE it!

That is one nice looking Maran Van! I totally understand the van thing, so I never had one....but, I only had two children with only 1 in a car seat at a time. I think it is really great for you guys - will you take me for a ride in the silver bullet? 120 here we come! Love to Hannah, with hugs and kisses! Same to you and Scott.
