My Life Right Now....

I was just thinking today about how grateful I am for my life right now. My life is good and I am happy. Things are going to change soon, and that scares me. Life is easy right now. I have a daughter who is fun to play with and who sleeps 13 hours through the night. Her life is not very demanding right now. She's not in school or in extra curricular activities and all I have to do is play with her all day. I get time to myself from 7pm on to do whatever I want. I get to see my husband from 4pm until we go to bed (unless he's got a lot of homework). I love my life right now. Not knowing what's coming for me in the next couple of months is terrifying, but after I get accustomed to it, I'm sure I'll love it just as much. It will be different, and I will never have just one child again. I feel like time is going by SO fast and it makes me sad but happy at the same time. I am excited to see what is in store for my family, but I'm afraid that I will miss this time in my life. Anyway, I don't know why I am writing this. I was just watching my daughter dance today and knew that I would miss this time in my life. I am an emotional, pregnant wreck these days, but I am so happy with where we are at.

P.S. I'll post another pregnancy pic next Tuesday...that's my 16 week checkup.

Enjoy the time of life that you are in because it is going to pass. I like that Country music song by Trace Atkins that says "You may not know it now, but you're gonna miss this" talking about each phase of life. Yes, enjoy little Hannah as an only child because it will change, but for the good.Glad you can be happy in spite of having morning sickness. Good attitude! Love ya Mom

I know what you mean about life flying by. Although I'm sure for you will fly by even faster when the babes are born! Enjoy the simple life right now!

I've been going through the same type of thing lately, minus the twins and pregnancy though. Knowing that life is going to change and moving on to a new stage. It nostalgic, and exciting all at the same time. I can't wait to see your cute little tummy on Thursday!

I can't imagine the different things that must be going through your mind preparing for twins. I'm sure its natural to mourn a little for the loss of normalcy that you've grown accustomed to in the last few years. No matter what, change is always a good adjustment. It is sad that time flies by so fast...I still can't believe I have a two year old! It's exciting though too at the same time...always looking forward to the next step!

Can't wait to see the next pic! I love the one in this post. silly pics are my favorite.

Yes, life is going to change, but you will love the next phase too (even though it may get harder :). I'm glad that you recognize this and are loving the phase you are in right now. It goes by way too quick.
