Sigh.......And Relax

I can finally take a deep breath and relax a little bit. I've hit a big milestone: 12 weeks. This means I can stop freaking out about having a miscarriage. I went to the doctor's today and heard both of the twinners' heartbeats, which means they are both alive and doing well. Of course this doesn't mean that I will stop worrying completely, because I know that twin pregnancies are always at high risk, but I can certainly relax a little bit more and start worrying about other things, like what in the world I'm going to do with two newborns. I can't think about it too much or I'll start talking myself out of being excited about having twins. Right now I just have to focus on how much fun it will be to have two babies, rather than how much work it's going to be.

For those of you who are wondering about my morning sickness, it's still here. It's not nearly as bad as it was the last time I wrote about it, though. I still throw up every morning, but I feel better around lunch time, and then I get nauseous again after dinner. At least I get a 7 hour window in there where I'm feeling somewhat normal and good, which I'm grateful for.

Here's the latest picture of me. I just got a facebook account last week, so a lot of you have seen this pic already posted on there. This was taken last week, so I'm probably even a little bit bigger this week. I already look and feel like I'm 5 months preggers. Hugeness, here I come:)

You looks so good! I am sure you feel huge and all the good stuff, but you do look great! I am sure it was so nice to hear their heartbeats!!

Wow, I know exactly how you feel!!... besides the whole twinners part. I actually went into the doctor's today too. It was our first app, so it was such a relief to hear the heartbeat and see the baby moving around. Who's your doc?

Yeah! Glad you're in the clear! And just so you know, even though you look way prego for only 12 weeks- you look way skinny! We had loads of fun today playing- Tyler wants to know when Hannah can come play again. Cute kids!

oh my gosh, Maran, your belly is darling. I want to rub it... but not in a weird way. You're right though, it looks like 5 months not 3. But the rest of you is teeny tiny, so there's one plus. I'm excited for your little twiners. Hannah will love it.

I already commented on this picture on facebook-but geez you are like the cutest pregnant girl EVER! I agree with Cori-you are tiny EVERYWHERE but your belly. It's perfect.

I'm SO relieved to hear you are feeling better. I'd love to read a post about your pregnancy must haves. Like your favorite foods, cravings, etc. It's always interesting to see how different women are when they are pregnant.

That is such a cute photo with the snow behind you and your little belly in bright pink and black.I want more photos of you like twice a month! E mail them to me if you don't want to blog them. Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Eventually it will go away and you will feel better for a few months anyway. So glad the babies are doing well too. Love ya Mom

How fun to hear the heartbeats! I can't wait to find out what you are having (I'm sure you can't wait either)!
I never looked that good pregnant, even carrying one.

Hooray for making it through the first trimester. I don't know what's in the air these days but I know so many people have twins. You look so cute. Do you have maternity clothes? I wish I could send you mine again but it would probably cost more to ship than it would to buy a new wardrobe.
