Mischief

I must say that 18months to about 2 1/2 is one of my favorite ages so far with my girls. There seem to be pros and cons to every age (up to 4 years of age, because that's all I've experienced so far), but I like this stage because the things that my girls do are just so cute. It's so much fun to watch them learn new things everyday, and I love their little voices and the way they pronounce words. They aren't quite throwing huge tantrums yet and they don't talk back to me, so that's a plus as well. I love their big bellies and short little legs. I could just kiss them all day long.

One thing I don't like about this stage is all the mischief they get into. Hannah didn't get into a ton of mischief when she was this age. She had her go to mischievous activities, like playing in the toilet or with the buttons on the dvd players, but she was never into climbing or drawing on herself or coloring things she wasn't supposed to color. She always seemed mature for her age, and she still does. Bailey and Brynn, however, do like to climb and color on things, including themselves. They've ripped or colored on about half of our kid books. Sometimes they feed off of each others mischief, and they help each other. Another part about this age I don't particularly like is that they don't seem to understand the word "NO!" Maybe they understand it, but they choose not to obey it. In fact, they seem to think it's funny to do the opposite of what I tell them. They are still cute, though, and I have to laugh at them sometimes. Like I said, even if they do get into everything, this is still one of my favorite stages.

This bookshelf is one of their favorite places to hang out.

Brynn loves to wrestle. She likes to jump on ALL of our backs if she can.

Bailey doesn't like it so much.

Bailey likes to put this basket over her head and walk. She thinks it's pretty funny.

Just another day in the Sprague family.

Bailey loves to jump on Hannah's bed.

And Brynn loves to climb onto Hannah's dollhouse. Maybe she wants to be doll?

This one they seemed to plan out together. Sneaky little girls.

Yup, those are little girl made mustaches.

I can't wait for them to figure out what scissors can do.
