I wanted to post something for those of you who check this who did not come up to Utah for Christmas. On Sunday the 24th, Hannah was given a blessing at church. Her dress was made by Aunt Frances and was very beautiful!! She looked like a little angel with her white dress and bow. Her dad gave her a very sweet blessing and we were lucky to have family there to watch it. Scott's family came up to visit last week. Hannah got to meet her Grandpa Greg and Uncle David for the first time. I think she liked them a lot. She also got to meet her Grandma and Grandpa Price for the first time as well as her Aunt Kerrie, Uncle Jake, and cousin Allie. Later that night we had a delicious dinner at my sister Hollie's house and opened presents with my dad. Christmas day was fun as well. Hannah got so many toys and dresses. We are so grateful to all of her grandparents for all of their gifts. The day after Christmas, my mom and step dad came to visit for a couple of days. Then on Thursday we opened presents with them and Hannah got to meet her Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Thayne. It has been an incredibly busy week for Hannah. Right now we've got Scott's dad staying with us until the 1st. We have been lucky to be able to see everyone for the holiday season this year, especially since Scott couldn't take any vacation time. Anyway, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Hopefully I will be sleeping when the clock strikes midnight. Things change when you have a child:)

Our little snow bunny!! Don't worry grandparents, I only kept her out there for 30 seconds.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had a huge snow storm last night and we are expected to have a couple more this week. I hope that the weather will be good for those of you who are driving to Utah for Christmas. It's really beautiful, just not fun to drive in. Maybe Scott and I will make a snowman in our front yard!! I've never done that before here. Anyway, just wanted to let ya'll know. We are so excited to see you all soon!!!

Just wanted to post a quick update. Yesterday was Hannah's 2 month appointment and she weighed 10 lbs 8 oz and was 22.5 inches long. She is 40% in weight and 60% in height. Maybe she will be tall and skinny:) She also got 4 shots yesterday. Both Scott and I got a little teary eyed when the nurse stuck her with 4 needles. It is hard to watch your child go through that. I can't even imagine what our Heavenly Father must have been feeling when he watched his Only Begotten Son die on the cross ( a little bit of Christmas spirit for ya). Anyway, luckily though, Hannah was still smiling yesterday and she actually slept really well last night.

Yesterday we had our ward Christmas party. Hannah was very good. She really likes to be out where a lot of people are. I think this dark, dungeon of a basement gets really old to her. She got to meet Santa Claus for the first time (although she was sleeping) which was fun. We also had pasta from Macaroni Grill at the party and then afterwards we went to Scott's work party at Macaroni Grill. We definitely had enough pasta in one day to feed an army. Also, today is Hannah's two month birthday. I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is still pretty little though. On Tuesday we have our two month check up. Hannah will be getting 4 shots and it is going to be very hard to watch. She's just too sweet to go through all that pain. I just want to say that I really like the second picture of her that I posted because her eyes look gorgeous. She always gets compliments on her eyes, especially her long eyelashes. I think she has longer eyelashes than Scott's and mine combined. I hope her eyes stay blue because they are just so beautiful. Anyway, I can't wait to see you all very soon!

This week has not been too exciting for us, which is why we haven't posted anything. It snowed pretty hard for the first time and has stuck to the ground for about a week. This obviously means it has been freezing temperatures during the day and night, which Scott and I are not big fans of. I like the snow to play in and visit but not to live in. Maybe if we had a few hills in our backyard that I could sled down or snowboard on I would enjoy it more. One exciting thing we did this week was put up our Christmas tree. That is always fun for me because it gets me excited for Christmas. I love Christmas and I can't wait for it to come this year. Another exciting thing for me is that I am growing a wisdom tooth in so I will be getting that pulled in a couple of weeks. Just kidding. That is not exciting. That terrifies me, especially if they are going to knock me out. Who knows what the dentist does when you are asleep. Anyway, I just posted a few more pictures of Hannah smiling and one serious one because these are the only pictures we took this week of her. I love her smile.

Happy
Thanksgiving to everyone!! We made an Indian hat for Hannah to wear yesterday for her first Thanksgiving. We had a nice relaxing day at Aunt Jo's house. Dinner was delicious and Hannah was pretty good the whole time we were there. We were going to go to Mimi's Cafe for dinner and have their Thanksgiving special because I didn't want to cook a whole bird for just the two of us but at the last minute Aunt Jo invited us over and we decided it would be better to hang out with family. Hannah has been doing very good during the day now. I am starting to get a routine down with her but nights are still rough on occasion. Some nights she will sleep 5 hours at a time and other nights only 2 hours at a time. She doesn't usually fall asleep for the night until midnight either which makes us all tired. I do enjoy playing with her all day though and will miss her when I have to go to school in January. I am so close to finishing though so it has to be done. Anyway, I also posted a picture of Scott making Hannah smile and one of them sleeping together. She is smiling more and more everyday and it is so much fun and she also is fun to snuggle with in the mornings. Other than these things, nothing else really exciting is happening in our lives right now. Scott is almost done with school for the semester and will hopefully do well in all his classes. Other than that we are just looking forward to seeing everyone at Christmas.

I just had to post this picture of her smiling. She is actually really starting to smile at people which is so much fun!! Before I think it was just gas bubbles but now she actually locks her eyes onto yours and gives you a big smile. It doesn't happen very often but when it does it just melts your heart. This week her grandpa Sprague has come to visit. He will be here until Saturday and he really enjoys taking care of her. He holds her most of the day and even enjoys calming her down when she is crying. He's a very good grandpa. I also had to put a picture of her in the new swing that we borrowed because without that, life would be extremely difficult. She is a great baby though and we love her so much. The last few nights she has kind of gotten herself on a routine and sleeps in three hour increments until about 9:00am. It has been very very nice.

Our little pumpkin is so strong!!! I know I just wrote a couple of days ago but I had to write again to show how well she can hold her head up. She has been pretty strong since she was born but this was the first time she held her head up this high and for this long. She held it there for at least 2 or 3 minutes. We are so proud of her! I think she is going to roll over and crawl early, which makes me kind of sad because that means she's already growing up too fast. Anyway, I also posted her 1 month picture and a picture of her getting a bath. She usually enjoys getting a bath so it is fun to give her one. I think she still looks a lot like Scott but she is starting to look a little more like some of my baby pictures. She will probably change a lot over the next year and we are excited to watch her grow!

The past two weeks have been extrememly hard because our swing wasn't working. The first picture of her crying shows what I see most of the day. If I'm not constantly bouncing her or feeding her she screams. The second I put her down her eyes open and she starts to scream again. However, today our swing was working for about an hour and.......hallelujah!!! I was able to get a few things done. We are going to buy a new swing tomorrow because for some reason this one is not working (however we are extremely grateful to mom and Jill for giving it to us). Swings must have come from heaven because they are the only things that she'll continue to sleep in after I put her down. She's usually pretty good at night, thank goodness, just in time for dad to get home from work. Anyway, I don't mean to complain about her. I love being a mother but it is harder than I could have ever imagined. The doctors say to sleep when she sleeps but how am I supposed to do that if she only sleeps when I am holding her? If anybody has any advice it would be wonderful to hear.
Anyway, some great news for me today is that I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans!! I have a few rolls hanging over the top but I was satisfied with just being able to fit them. I still can't fit into most of my shirts though. Some other good news is that Scott's dad is coming to visit this weekend. We are really excited to see him and Hannah is really excited to meet him:) Anyway, we will post better pictures soon but nothing really exciting has happened in the last week. On Friday Hannah will be one month old. Time is already flying by.

Happy Halloween! We had a couple of different outfits for Hannah today but unfortunately I ruined the one my mom gave me by washing it, so we only have her pictured in one outfit and one bib. We hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! We are excited for the day when we can take our kids out trick or treating.

Hannah has been doing very well lately.
Her belly button chord fell off yesterday (hence the picture of her belly) and we went to her two week checkup on Friday. She weighed 8lbs 10 oz. She is a little above 50th percentile in weight, height, and head size. She did very well at the doctor's visit. She really likes being naked while lying on her back. She actually usually enjoys getting her diaper changed, which was good because she had a huge blow out at the doctor's office. However, she didn't like it when the nurse pricked her foot for her PKU (I think that's what it is called) test. She screamed and it was very sad for me to watch but luckily Grandma Julia held her while it was happening. Speaking of Grandma Julia, we are so grateful to her for all that she did for us in the past week. She left right after the doctor's appointment on Friday and I know Hannah misses her already:) I think Scott already wrote something about Grandma D but we are also extremely grateful to her for all that she did for us as well. It has been different not having anyone here to help me during the day. I have to get used to spending my time wisely. Hannah does not sleep very much in the mornings so when she does, I have to try to get as much done as possible. I usually don't have time to get my hair or makeup done until Scott gets home, which by then there is really no point in trying to get ready. I am excited for the day that Hannah will let me put her down without screaming. For now though, I really don't want her to grow up. She is so sweet. I was just staring at her the other day while I was feeding her and my eyes swelled up with tears because I love her so much. Although life is going to be hard for the next couple of years and I wish I would have finished school before she came because I honestly don't know how I am going to do it, I am so grateful to have Hannah in my life and I know that everything will work out.
Obviously, I have posted some more pictures of her. We have a lot of pictures of her on her changing table because that is when she is the happiest. The picture of us together is our first family picture. Unfortunately we didn't get any in the hospital. Once again, I hope everyone is doing well and we will take more pictures tomorrow for Halloween and post them sometime this week.

P.S. Mom- Scott ate about 4 helpings of shrimp. I'm not sure how many shrimp come in one helping but it made me sick to watch him eat that much.

Here are a few more pictures of our sweet little girl. The one of her in a dress was her first visit to church. We only stayed for Sacrament and she did pretty good until the end. The picture of her in a bear outfit was our very first outing (besides the doctor's). We went to Red Lobster for the endless shrimp fest with Scott's mom, Scott's aunt, and our friends Dennis and Jenny. She slept the entire time. Anyway, Scott needs the computer for his classes so I will post more later but I hope everyone is doing well.
