( Quote from Tangled, which you probably wouldn't know unless you've seen it a bajillion times like I have.)
Happy 5th birthday to this little girl!!!
We had a "Tangled" birthday party for Hannah last Saturday. She had about 15 little friends here. I tried to save money by making most of the decorations, so don't mind the homemade looking stuff. I think Hannah really liked it, and I suppose that's all that matters. I wish I could say that I came up with all these ideas, but I didn't. I found a lot of them on the internet.
Here was the cake. It's supposed to be Rapunzel's tower, but Hannah made sure I knew that it didn't look exactly like the tower in the movie. Hey, it was easy, and it somewhat represents a tower (despite the fact that it was a bit crooked). Good enough, I'd say.
I also found these flags here on the internet, printed them out, and glued them to that yarn.
I was going to do a "Pin the Something..." on this Rapunzel but decided at the last minute not to, so it just became a decoration.
Onto the party....
The kids started off by coloring a Rapunzel and Flynn Rider picture.

Then we went inside and opened the presents (Hannah's favorite part).
And here is Hannah on her real birthday (Monday) with a yummy cheesecake. Ok, yummy to me but maybe not so yummy to the kiddos. Why don't kids love cheesecake like I do?
I'd say she had a pretty good weekend. And to top it off, my mom and step-dad came into town on her real birthday. What can be better than having her grandparents here on her birthday (maybe having ALL of her grandparents here)? I can't believe my little girl is 5. Can time please stop? Seems like just yesterday I was kissing her little chubby cheeks for the first time.
