The Good, The Bad, And The Incredibly Ugly

I wish that I were posting a blog saying that I've had the babies, but I'm afraid I have to tell you all that I'm still pregnant. However, we have some good news. First off, I only have ONE week (or less) left until these babies are here. I am very excited and ready for them to come.

Also, we're moving to a 3 bedroom apartment (pictures to come later)!! It's only about 3 minutes from this apartment and it's much nicer and newer!! And best of all.....IT HAS A DISHWASHER!!!!! I am SO excited to finally have a dishwasher after 5 years of marriage. You'd think that after that long that I would have gotten used to washing dishes by hand, but I hate it just as much now as I did the day we got married. It probably sounds weird that I'm getting excited over having a dishwasher, but a lot of apartments around here do not have them, so it's an extra bonus when they do. The bad part of this whole moving thing is that we are doing it this weekend. Although I want these babies to come now, I also kind of want to be moved in before they come.

Some other good news around here....my mom and mother-in-law are both in town right now. I love having them here, but I have a really hard time accepting all of their service. I feel like I need to be serving them. My poor mother, who recently had knee surgery, has been cleaning and packing our house as well as cooking us dinner. My mother-in-law has also been doing these things for us, and I have mostly been relaxing. Tonight my mom even washed and massaged my feet and my mother-in-law painted my toes. They are both wonderful and I feel so blessed to have them here to take care of me.

Now onto the bad and the incredibly ugly....

If you have a queasy stomach, don't scroll down.

If you read one of my posts about pregnancy a few months ago, I stated that pregnancy and I don't go well together. Yes, my cankles have returned big time!!! When I was pregnant with Hannah I didn't get huge cankles until after she was born. This time, it has occurred before these babies are born. My feet are SO SWOLLEN...it's ridiculous. Let me just say again that I'm really excited to have these babies!

Yay for dishwashers!! That's very exciting. I wish it were us.
I'm sorry about being swollen. That stinks! This weather lately has not helped at all. I'm glad your moms are there to help.
One week is so soon, but I'm sure you're hoping it'll be sooner. How are you measuring? Are you dilated at all. Um, you don't actually have to answer that if you find it's too personal.

YEA!!! I'm SO excited for you that you get to move to a new apartment! Wish we were there to help with the move. Did you get my message the other day? I left it on your house machine, but I think it cut me off so I don't know if you got it.
I'm SO glad your mom's are there...seriously, you need to just let them serve you and take care of you and relax this last week.
Your poor little tootsies---I totally remember that...mine were really bad.
Love you and thinkin of you.

Maran, I'm glad you are doing well. Missing you guys. Kelly wakes up crying saying she wants her friends. Wish I were there to take Hannah while you pack. We will be back soon. Are you going to still be in our ward? Good luck with everything!

I'm so bummed that I'm going to miss them by a week! Honestly, I can't believe that they haven't come yet... little stinkers. I'm glad mom and Julia are there to help out. Can't wait to see pictures of the little cuties (and the new apartment).

Emily, my doctors actually haven't measured me for a few weeks so I don't know what I'm measured at and I'm only dilated to a 1.

Rachel, we won't be in the ward anymore. I believe we'll be in the Bonneville 1st ward. Don't worry, though, Hannah and Kelly are still going to have to play together every week:)
