Edit: You can look at our pictures here and here.
Sorry it has been so long since our last post. Our trip was great. It is very depressing to be home and go back to real life. We left on Wednesday morning and we arrived in Sacramento in the afternoon. My brother Dave was graduating high school, so we got to go to Arco Arena to see him. Deep down I was hoping for some strange reason someone from the Kings would be there, but I didn't see anyone. Then we left for San Francisco. On Thursday morning we got on an airplane to Kona, on the Big Island. We arrived in the early afternoon, and we got to stay at a great Condo there. We were able to do a lot of cool things, like see the Volcano, go snorkeling, go in a submarine, go to the beaches, and I also got to go fishing. I caught an Ono fish, which we guess was probably between 12 and 16 pounds. We also almost caught a Mahi Mahi, but it spit out the bait almost as soon as we knew we had it on. It was also very humid there, but we got used to it.
It was our first trip to Hawaii, but will not be our last. We hope to be able to go again. I am uploading pictures as we speak, and as soon as they are done, I will post them. I must warn you, we took a lot of pictures, and I am not even posting all of them, but you mind find them boring.
After going back to Sacramento after our trip, we got to see Maran's family, and our nephew Dominic got his blessing, which was great.
As far as Maran and the baby go, things are good. On Tuesday we went back to the doctor, and he said everything is fine and on schedule for the beginning of October. We are so excited for little Hannah to come. I talk to her at night time, and I miss her even though I don't really know her if that makes any sense. Maran is being great about everything. She doesn't complain, even though I know she is not comfortable. We are so excited but nervous at the same time. We wonder what she will be like, what she will look like, if she will like us, the list goes on.
A final note, Wednesday the 28th is Maran's birthday, so be sure to wish her a happy one! Look for pictures soon.
