These next two weeks are going to be difficult for me, because I have to finish my Independent Study class next week in order to graduate in December (and I still have a lot to do in it). So, I apologize if there aren't too many blogs or if they are short like this one will be. I thought I would do another Hannah update since nothing else is really going on. Her rash is getting worse, so I called the doctor yesterday and he told me to put Neosporine on it. It actually looks worse today and has spread to her cheeks. It makes me sad because she has such a pretty face that is getting swallowed up in a nasty rash. The doctor said if this doesn't work, he will prescribe us some antibiotics. Other than that, things have been great with her (although she gets into EVERYTHING.....our house constantly looks like a tornado hit). She is starting to walk while pushing a baby walker, but very carefully. She also loves to point to things when I name them. I'm trying to teach her numbers and shapes, and sometimes she points to the right ones, sometimes she doesn't.
Here's a picture of her rash. I think you'll be able to see it this time.

Poor baby! She is still beautiful though. Good luck with your independent study class. Just think, in a few more weeks you'll be done!
Oh, little Hannah! I hate it when things like a rash happen and you can't figure out what it is or what to do for it! I hope you find something soon! I miss you all terribly, and if you need me to come and play with Hannah for the next few weeks or so, just let me know - I'll be right there so you can get your school work finished! It only takes me 9 hours to get there! Piece of cake! Love you all.
Her rash is definitely getting worse. Neosporin is only going to prevent an infection, not treat the cause of the rash. Perhaps if this doctor doesn't have the answer, then she may have to see a dermatologist. Poor baby. Does it hurt her? I hate to see her like that.
I am glad that she is pushing things around. She will be walking by Christmas, mark my word :) Good luck in your class. Don't worry about blogging. We all understand. Love to you all. Mom
This is for scott or should I say daniel sahn:
You're the best around. No one's ever gonna get you down.
Poor little Hannah. I am certainly not a rash expert, but it doesn't look like eczema to me (from what I've seen of eczema). Maybe it is some sort of food allergy??? I know Dallin used to get a rash around his mouth when he ate cinnamon. I used to have to cut tomatoes on a meat slicer at cafe la bou, by the end, my arm was dripping in tomato juice. I would usually get a rash there.
Anyways, just something to think about.
Good luck in your studies! You're doing an awesome job at balancing all of your responsibilities.
