On to a new subject, Hannah is learning so much every single day. She knows where my eyes and nose are and I've heard her say words like "hi" "Hannah" and I think I heard her say "Jesus" the other day but I'm not sure. She is also learning quickly that she doesn't like vegetables as she is starting to have better tasting food.
Last night I figured out that I have a gift. A few months ago I was watching "Miss USA" and I picked the winner from the beginning of the show. Again last night, I was watching "Miss Teen USA" and I also picked her from the beginning of the show (just ask Scott). As soon as they called her name to be Miss Teen USA I shouted a big "Hurray" because I guessed her! I should be a judge or something. Oh, and to Kerrie and Jake, this is not like the time I tricked you guys into thinking I picked the winner because I already knew who won.
This is Miss USAMiss Teen USA
Anyway, I don't know why I posted their pictures and you can definitely tell that this week was uneventful because I am writing about beauty pageants, but I was so proud of myself for picking them both. One thing I find sad about these pageants is that it is all based on looks. They like to pretend that it isn't by making the contestants answer a question at the end but this young woman did not have a very good answer. There was another contestant that I felt had a better answer but wasn't as pretty.
Well, nothing else has really happened lately. I hope you all are having a wonderful week.

I like your new picture up top...way cute! I must have passed my gift onto you. When I was younger I would know things before they happened or before I saw it (i.e. Diana and Shirley and I were walking and ran into a deck of cards scattered on the ground. I would point at the card, which was faced down, and guess it correctly. I did that three times in a row). Anyway, I used to have lots of little oddities like that happen. Not so much anymore though. My psychic powers went down the drain as I got older. Any chance that I might win Mrs. America if I tried out?
Kerrie, you go for it! I'd pick you! Back to reality with school and work, huh? Summer has been great.
Maran, I love your new photo. Very cool. I used to have a talent of telling what sex a baby was going to be (Before ultrasound) I was right literally 95% of the time. Can't do it anymore. Too bad you can't get paid for predicting the winners huh? Hooray for our Hannah! She's doing so many things all of a sudden. What fun. Post a video of her talking. Love ya
PS I forgot to say that I am very excited to get a home made gift for Christmas. Even if it is a loaf of banana bread I would love it!!
Wow- how exciting that this will be your last semester! You've done great! It looks like it is the year of the brunettes-- you should've tried out, you're just as pretty! :)
Maran, I couldn't help but to post a note.... I was busting out loud when i was reading your comment on Miss America! I could imagine you standing up, shouting HURRAY! I think your sister is right, you should've tried out! You would have won.
Your little Hannah is adorable!! I hope my kids get some blue eyes like hers(Trent has them but with my luck they will turn out poopy brown). Take care
