Well a couple of months ago Scott got released from his calling in the ward and hasn't had one since. I kept having this feeling he was going to get called into the Bishopric (which is a pretty time consuming calling, for those of you who might not know what that is) but didn't tell him because my feelings are usually wrong. Last week we got called into our Bishop's office and were called to be Family History Consultants. I thought to myself 'well, I guess my feeling was wrong again' but was excited we weren't called to be Gospel Doctrine teachers, which was another thought that crossed through my mind. Then, this past Wednesday we got a call from the BYU 2nd stake to come in for an interview and yesterday Scott was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric of a BYU singles ward. We will have to be released from our Family History calling that we just got last week, but we are excited to go to a new ward. It will be weird to be with a bunch of single people, but I think it will be fun, too. I'm sure Hannah will have a lot of babysitters if she wants them. Scott will be sustained next Sunday and the Stake President asked us to just keep this between family right now, but I figured pretty much everyone that checks this is family so I think it's OK.
On to a new topic....just when you think you have your baby trained, something happens and she starts waking up again at night. We've had Hannah sleeping a good 10-12 straight hours almost every night for the past two months but recently she has been waking up screaming at the top of her lungs. Sometimes it's because she's rolled over into a position that looks really uncomfortable, but other times I'm just not sure. She still has no teeth, so I'm wondering if that's the problem. Her gums don't look swollen to me, though, but she did have a fever this weekend but no runny nose. Anyway, sometimes I just feel like I never know what is going on with her. I just hope she doesn't make a habit of waking up in the middle of the night again.
Well, I am excited for this week to come. I love July 4th! We have Jennifer in town for two weeks and Scott's dad coming in town at the end of this week for a couple of days. It's always fun to see family! We hope ya'll have a great week!

Congratulations or good luck (I'm not sure which is the correct term) to Scott with his new calling. I'm sure it will be a good growing experience.
Babies are so unpredictable as far as sleep goes, until after they are two. It's nice when they finally sleep throughout the night, even when they aren't feeling well. It sure helps us parents to learn how to be more flexible in life.
That is awesome that you guys have received that calling...and I say you guys, because I know that sustaining and supporting your husband in such a busy, important calling is a calling in and of itself! He will be great and this is just another thing to help you guys to know that you are in the right place for this time of your lives, like we were talking about on the phone the other day. About the sleeping thing...I'm jealous you ever got her to sleep 10-12 hours...I've yet to experience that luxury. But, I would venture to guess that it could have something to do with teething. Or maybe growing pains...my doctor said when they are teething they are also experiencing growing pains. Montana has been on an off about sleeping well, and she has one tooth in and one on the way. I attribute the sleeping schedule to that.
Montana borrowed Hannah's grandma Julia the other night at the Youth Conference they were cooking at. She held her for me for a bit, and I really appreciated it. I'm sure it made her miss Hannah!
Anyway, love ya! And as hollie said, Congrats AND good luck!
This will be such a fun calling for both of you. Hannah will be adored by all of the young single adults. She will become the ward mascot. And you will definitely have babysitters if you want them (I never took up the offers and I should have). I just got a new calling on Sunday also...teaching the 6 year olds in primary. I've never had a primary calling so this will be a new experience.
As for Hannah...that is pretty amazing that you had her sleeping 10-12 hrs at her age. Allie didn't do that consistently until she was 15 months. Hopefully she will get back to her amazing sleep patterns soon.
Congrats to you both on the calling. I am proud of you Scott. This will be a wonderful growing experience for you both. Momma Donna
Not just family reads this...
Sorry it takes me a while to actually commenting. Glad you guys are doing well. Congrats on the calling. I guess last week was the first offical week then huh?
Hope it goes well.
I wish I had vacation.
